It was a clean sweep on election night with Mamdani winning over 50% of the vote defeating Governor Cuomo for the 2nd time in a year. Mamdani 34, inspired more votes to be cast whether for or against causing the highest voter turnout in over 30 years. He spoke to the needs of middle and lower middle class voters of all backgrounds and January 1st he will take office and will attempt to make good on many of those campaign promises.
