Drafted all the way in round 5 after earlier predictions had Sheduer as a top 5 draft pick had many questioning what was going on. First Round, 2nd Round then the 3rd round and the NFL Players, Commentators, Celebrities and yes even the President of the United States all were showing disdain for that young talented quarterback was not drafted. Then finally the Cleveland Browns who already had picked a QB earlier in the draft and have 3 quaterbacks already decided to take the shot with him and it seemed to everyone as he was only picked due to the outside pressure. So, the question is why? Well first we have to look at the narrative that is being pitched and this seems a bit familiar as in another sport NBA Star Luka Donic was traded to the Laker away from Dallas and the first thing Mavericks did was try to control the narrative. They said Luka was out of shape even though he had led the team to the finals and the basketball community did not by, but when it’s personal simple excuses just give a reason to hide true feelings. In my opinion it was personal, not just against Shedeur, but against Deion Sanders his Hall of fame father. I truly believe this was a statement to let Deion knows he doesn’t control the NFL no matter how popular he is. He had been in interviews earlier in the year saying that he would oversee who was drafting his son and they would make sure he had a good placement. It was only after his press tour that we saw Shedeur’s stock go from top 5 to possibly 26-29. Could it be Dad? Or was it the fact he did not do a combine and his interviews were bad? Could it be the arrogance? We will never know. In fact we will not know how he will fit in the NFL as the 5th option on a failing football team or will he have a chance to compete for a starting position? We just want to know was it personal?
